What is Croogo?
Croogo is a free, open-source content management system for PHP built on the CakePHP framework and released under the MIT licence. It provides content types, taxonomy, menus, comments, user permissions and multilingual support, and gives developers full control through CakePHP. Its most recent release is from 2020.
Project status: The latest release (4.0.7) was published on 31 October 2020 and the most recent commit on the master branch is from 1 November 2020. A 5.0.0 beta was tagged in October 2020, but no later release was found. No archive notice was seen. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.

Croogo requirements
- PHP: PHP 7.1 or higher (per repository README)
- Database: MySQL 5.7+ (utf8mb4 recommended)
- Apache with mod_rewrite, or nginx
- CakePHP framework (bundled)
