What is eXtplorer?
eXtplorer is a PHP-based web file manager for managing files and directories on your own web space from a browser. The Softaculous listing describes drag-and-drop copy and move, editing, archive handling and multi-level user permissions. The official site now presents a newer eXtplorer 3 rewrite alongside the older 2.x line.

eXtplorer requirements
- For eXtplorer 3 the GitHub repository lists PHP 8.2 through 8.5 (not confirmed for the Softaculous 2.1.15 package)
eXtplorer manages files in your own hosting space through PHP, so it needs no database in the Softaculous description. Requirements for the packaged 2.1.15 version were not verified, and eXtplorer 3 lists PHP 8.2+.
