What is Pubvana?
Pubvana is a content management system for personal blogs and small business websites, previously known as Open Blog v3. It offers a dashboard, Markdown editing, comments, static pages and menus. The Softaculous-packaged release dates from 2018, while the project's current v3 line is published on GitHub under the MIT licence and is still in beta.
Project status: The version packaged by Softaculous is 1.0.4, dated July 2018. The project's own GitHub page marks v1 as obsolete and v2 as maintenance-only; the active v3 line is still labelled beta. The domain pubvana.org currently serves an unrelated gaming and technology blog, so it is not used as the official site. Owner should decide whether to publish this page. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.

- PHP: PHP 8.2+ for the current v3 line; requirements of the 2018 Softaculous package not verified
The current v3 line describes itself as shared-host friendly and needs PHP 8.2 or newer. The much older release in the installer has no verified requirements and receives no upstream updates.
