What is Sentrifugo?
Sentrifugo is a free human resource management system released under the GPL, written in PHP on the Zend framework with MySQL. It covers employee management, leave, recruitment, appraisals and analytics for small and medium organisations. The last release dates from 2017, so it is no longer actively developed.
Project status: The last release (3.2) was published in April 2017 according to SourceForge and Softaculous, and the official sentrifugo.com site did not respond when checked. Only PHP 5.3 or later is documented. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.

Sentrifugo requirements
- PHP: PHP 5.3 or later per project documentation; modern PHP 8 support is not documented
- Database: MySQL with PDO
- Apache with mod_rewrite
- GD library
- OpenSSL
Sentrifugo needs only Apache, PHP and MySQL, but it documents PHP 5.3 or later and has had no release since 2017. Confirm compatibility with a supported PHP version before using it for anything new.
