What is X2CRM?
X2CRM is an open-source customer relationship management application originally developed by X2Engine. It combines contact and lead management with marketing campaigns, quotes and workflow automation. Version 6 moved it to the AGPL-3.0 licence. The last release, 7.1, dates from 2019, so it is no longer actively developed.
Project status: The latest release on the official GitHub repository (7.1) and the Softaculous package both date from October 2019; the README changelog ends with that version. No newer release was found, and PHP 8 compatibility is not documented. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
