What is ClipperCMS?
ClipperCMS is an open-source PHP content management system forked from MODX Evolution. Its Softaculous description presents it as a lightweight system for websites, blogs and dynamic apps with HTML and CSS templating. The official GitHub repository is archived, and the project notes it was kept for security updates only.
Project status: The official GitHub repository is archived (read-only) with the last push in 2017; Softaculous lists version 1.3.3 from December 2016; the clippercms.com domain now redirects to a domain-sales page. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
