What is Form Tools?
Form Tools is a free, open-source PHP and MySQL application that stores and manages the data submitted through web forms. It lets administrators create forms, receive submissions from external forms, give clients limited access and export results, without needing to write code. Its official repository shows no release since early 2023.
Project status: The latest release is 3.1.1 (26 February 2023) and the most recent commits visible on the official GitHub repository date from September 2023, so there has been no release for over three years at the time of research (September 2026). The licence type could not be verified from the pages read. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.

- PHP: Core 3.0.0 and later supports PHP 5.3 or newer; PHP 8 support was added in release 3.1.0
- Database: MySQL (accessed through PDO)
