What is net2ftp?
net2ftp is a web-based FTP client written in PHP. It lets you browse remote FTP servers, upload, download, edit, copy, move and delete files from a browser without installing desktop software. It can be used online or installed on your own web server, and its source is released under the GPL.
Project status: The latest stable release listed is 1.3 from July 2019 (Softaculous and Wikipedia), more than three years ago. The SourceForge project page shows its last update in 2013. The net2ftp.com site now presents an online service. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
