What is Saurus CMS?
Saurus CMS is a content management system for building and managing websites, published as a free open-source Community Edition on GitHub. It includes ready-made content templates such as article lists, blogs, news archives, forums and image galleries, plus an API for custom applications. No release or code push appears after 2015.
Project status: The Community Edition repository was last pushed in August 2015 and Softaculous lists version 4.7 FINAL from February 2015; the README specifies PHP 5.3 to 5.6.0 and MySQL up to 5.6.2. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
