What is WeBid?
WeBid is an open-source auction script written in PHP that lets you run your own online auction website. Members list items, bid, leave feedback and message each other, while an administration panel manages the site. Its official GitHub repository was archived in 2021, so it no longer receives upstream development.
Project status: The official WeBid repository on GitHub was archived by its owner on 25 September 2021 and is read-only. The Softaculous listing shows version 1.2.2 dated 3 October 2017. No newer upstream releases were found. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
