What is Geeklog?
Geeklog is an open-source PHP content management system and blog engine, first created in 2001 and maintained by a core development team with community contributions. It offers multi-topic publishing, comments, spam protection and syndication feeds, and can be extended with community plugins such as forums or image galleries. It works with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Project status: The latest core release on the official site and GitHub is 2.2.2 from September 2022, more than three years ago. The official site is still online and the repository is not archived. We list it because it is still available in the Softaculous installer; consider an actively maintained alternative for new projects.
